Now for the good stuff!
"The Aire in Buenos Aires has been so Bueno lately! We've
gotten beautiful rainstorms followed by forgiving rainbows and sunshine. Spring
is in the air. What season is it over there again?"
"We're witnessing miracles, people. One of those is that we
were able to find sanctuary after taking the wrong bus and getting lost in a
ghetto area called La Ferrari which is so ghetto that the Hermanas are not even
allowed to step foot in it haha. . oops. But thankfully the Lord guided us on a
rickety old bus through the wilderness to the promised land of Wally World and
we found our wa back from there! Good times."
We also had intercambios this week and I got to be with Hermana Root who is such a funny girl! I think we laughed the entire exchange!
Another "Wait a second I'm a missionary" moment: At a church activity all the little rascal niños were running around playing tag haha and one of them yelled out " LAST ONE TO TOUCH THE DOORS A PIGS BUTT!" And I laughed so hard that I started to play with them a little and before I knew it I was calling the other children "Pigbutts" and then I realized that it probably wouldn't be the best sight for a Bishop to walk in haha so I straightened up a bit. Sometimes it just comes out of me!
p.p.s This pic is proof that Dr. Suess trees are REAL. But they only exist in Argentina! |
