Well... We've Got a Lot of Dog Friends!

'Merica! - In celebration of July 4th
Mini miracle from this week: My comp saw a man with his little boy getting out of his truck last Pday when we were in the cyber. We weren´t in the situation to talk to him but she felt something strong about him so she said a prayer that we would somehow be able to find him again so we could share the gospel with him.
Well 2 days ago we were riding our bikes and I felt like we should randomly go a different way. My comp saw his truck and told me to stop. We went over and talked to him and turns out he's like a famous singer but he was super receptive and told us to pass by this week! God answers specific prayers!

We also found out by some members that our Chinese investigator Hermano Chino was part of the mafia haha and thats why he is in a wheelchair cause he got shot numerous times.... He told me he found my Facebook and was sharing my pictures hahaha well all people can change.

This week we are focusing a ton on teaching the Restoration with the spirit and focusing on the Libro de Mormon and testifying with more power. Especially the less actives, we feel like if they can remember their own testimony of the truth that Joseph Smith was a prophet, they won't need a ton of other reasons to get them going back to church.
AMIGOS Y PIZZA.... ¿¿QUE MAS NECESITÁS??

Well... We've got a lot of dog friends....

This dog is literally biting my hand off.
But don't worry he is our friend and he protects us haha.

This Sunday we fasted for more people to teach and during out fast we knocked on a door of a referral that was never home the past 3 times we went, but we said "this is the last time" and she opened the door, crying. She finally let us in after offering her help 3 times and just cried and cried and told us about her daughter, that she hasn´t seen her for 2 years and all she wants is to see her again. We taught her about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and sang her a few hymns. I showed her my picture of Jesus Christ in the Garden and she just clung it to her chest, weeping. I wrote her my testimony on the back and let her keep it. We taught her how to pray and told her to get some rest. But my favorite part was when we asked her if she was willing to change her life and follow Christ and she replied so humbly that yes. It reminded me they are those with a broken heart and contrite spirit that the Savior receives with open arms. I felt priveledged to be able to cry with someone who needed comfort.

I know this gospel is true! I know it more and more every day. Keep praying for our dear apostles and our beloved Prophet.
