Merlin!!!! I . . I . . swallowed a BUG!

I know the rules are that we
shouldn`t have pets but he was hungry,
poor little thing so I gave him some milk :)
Againt my companions will hahaha

I love the July 24th weekend! I remembered the pioneers this week as I studied "Our Heritage" and realized again that we are so blessed! I am thankful to them for their many sacrifices and also very proud to be a Flake from Snowflake.

Haha well today started off great, ya know why? Yesterday I took out the phone battery to report a number and when I set the time I accidentally switched the AM and the PM without realizing it.... So the alarm was set and everything but for the afternoon haha and WE SLEPT IN until 8:30! ! We felt so awful! The good news is God is merciful and He loves us just how we are haha.
Fixin up the bike chain like always
(It always come undone darn thing)

When it comes the time to write y'all I just want to tell you ALL about the miracles that I am witnessing, because there really are SO MANY! I told you about Corina, right? I am so grateful that she is at least opening her door to us now. I feel like I have gained back something dear to me that was lost for so long! The Lord is good and merciful.

This Sunday a recent convert wanted to make us lunch and when we arrived at her house she told us that we could go with her to buy potatoes. We testified to her of the importance of sanctifying the Sabbath and she was saying "But theres nothing else to cook with the chicken! And YOU guys wont be doing it, just me so dont worry. " We talked with her a little more and asked her to think of there was another option. She thought for a minute and then said "I got it! We can cook rice!" I was happy to hear  that. I have such a testimony of the miracles that come from exact obedience.

This week we had a lot more people at church!!! 30 people came! I was so happy. This tiny branch is just so thirsty for growth. I have 6 months here in this town and it has been hard at times to keep hope going when the very own members have lost hope. But in these last weeks I have here I am going to give it my all. That is our game plan, to transmit hope to the members.
I love these crazy wildhair girls! (Familia Franco)

Funny/ awkward moment of the week (cause I always have those): A giant pig chased us from the dumpyard it was so scary!!!!

I love y'all! Remember to obey in ALL things!

Dancing with the biggest dog in history

Favorite moment of the week:
When our 11 year old investigator Romelí
asked us about our nametags and then,
after pausing for a second, said
"One day, I'll have one of those" She inspires me!

It's gettin way too cold outside!!!

Besides...You and I both know that I'm training to become a cage fighter....

Hno guillermo was cookin us pizza and I was sharing a scripture and my testimony when the entire oven caught on fire!!! Hahaha it was so funny somebody had left a plastic plate in there and we had to take outside. I think my testimony was a little too powerful. The spirit of God like a fire was burnin!

We are seeing so many miracles!!! This week as we were talking about the area my compa and I and expressing our frustration about the ward and its progress, our investigators and the struggle for getting them to commit to baptism. We ended up crying as we thought of each and every one of them, and their struggles. We decided that we want to see someone in white before this transfer ends in August! So we said a sincere and fervent prayer, begging the Lord for some changes, and then we promised Him to be obedient and work our tails off. We figure that the promise in Mormon 9:21 coupled with the Lords will and our hard work is going to get us to see a baptism this transfer.

We have already seen the Lord answering our prayers! Fabrizzio  is progressing so much and his parents are also finally steppin up to the plate. We had a lesson with him this week about baptism and we played musical chairs and hangman to make it more fun haha. Fabrizzio accepted a baptismal date for the 1 of August. :)

I love the mission, more than I can even believe it sometimes. I love being able to teach this beautiful gospel. Where there is adversity, there is also hope in our Savior. Remember Him this week and every week.

Frans, frans frans..... and  the Stake  President :)

Again!!! The Beautiful SKYYYYY!

La Luz de La Verdad!

We are witnessing miracles every day. Seriously. Pres. Thurgood is giving us more money to buy fruits and veggies so we took advantage today and filled our fridge with all kinds of goodies.
We also locked ourselves outside our pench haha but angles opened the locked window for us... literally, and there was no problem.
We found a less active whom no one knew about in the street after my bike chain came undone 3 times in a row and when we started talking to him we found out why. He wants to come back to church. God works in misterious ways. He'll even brake your bike to lead you to one of His lost children.
This week we have been proclaiming the gospel with a voice of a trompet! (not with Trombones... sorry Brombones hhahaha ) It all started with a meeting we had in Banfield where Presidente Thurgood motivated all of us a FUL and afterward a group of us missionaries were waiting for the train, talking about everything. Usually in these trains we try to talk to people individually but they are pretty resistant. When we boarded the crowded train one of the Greenies who doesn't speak a l lot of Spanish got up in front of everyone and just shouted loudly "Hello everyone! I can´t speak a lot of Spanish but I just want to share my testimony with you all that I know the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church! We have cards and pamphlets that we would like to give to you all!" haha I couldn't believe his boldness, I had the biggest smile on my face. Immediately a bunch of niños came up to us, wanting pass along cards.  Every missionary started talking with someone, and I realized the diference it makes to have confidence in declaring loudly the truth. I was feeling to good and excited! Well when we got off the train and had to go to the bank we realized that we had to wait for an hour in the line to be able to take out money to travel back to Las Flores. It was a line of about 40 people and I had desires to try what this Elder did in the train, but to do it with song. My comp didn't want me to do it at first haha she thought it would have been weird but I felt so strongly the desire to just belt my testimony these Argentines because I just love them! So without thinking I opened my mouth and shouted "¡Buenas tardes a todos! ¡Somos representantes de Jesucristo y su unica iglesia verdadera y viviente! ¡Testificamos que Él vive y que ha restaurado su evangelio sobre la tierra por un profeta que se llama Jose Smith! ¡Hemos sido llamadas para proclomarlo al mundo, y queremos compartir nuestro testimonio al cantarles!" ( Good evening everyone! We are representatives of Jesus Christ and His only true and living gospel! We testify that He lives and that He has restored His gospel to the earth through His prophet Joseph Smith! We have been called to proclaim it to the world, and we would like to do it with you through song!"
Well by this point my comp was either really embarrassed or really excited haha but we started to sing "La Luz de La Verdad" (Hark, all ye nations) and afterwards we bore testimony to the whole crowd. It was glorious. I want to do it the rest of my mission haha. I don't know why I haven't done it before. We were able to talk with many more people and received a lot of referrals afterwards.
I know with all my heart that this gospel is true and I love that this nametag gives me the right to declare it. You also have the right to share it as members of this church. Show the Lord your gratitude for being part of His true gospel by helping Him find His other lost sheep. If you love Him, feed His sheep.

Fabbrizzio made us origami shades.... Somos genios.

Just bringin hope and esperanza to the dead and the fallen... Sometimes when we run out of people to teach the possum families are our next option...

More of that Beautiful Argentina Sky!!!

Well... We've Got a Lot of Dog Friends!

'Merica! - In celebration of July 4th
Mini miracle from this week: My comp saw a man with his little boy getting out of his truck last Pday when we were in the cyber. We weren´t in the situation to talk to him but she felt something strong about him so she said a prayer that we would somehow be able to find him again so we could share the gospel with him.
Well 2 days ago we were riding our bikes and I felt like we should randomly go a different way. My comp saw his truck and told me to stop. We went over and talked to him and turns out he's like a famous singer but he was super receptive and told us to pass by this week! God answers specific prayers!

We also found out by some members that our Chinese investigator Hermano Chino was part of the mafia haha and thats why he is in a wheelchair cause he got shot numerous times.... He told me he found my Facebook and was sharing my pictures hahaha well all people can change.

This week we are focusing a ton on teaching the Restoration with the spirit and focusing on the Libro de Mormon and testifying with more power. Especially the less actives, we feel like if they can remember their own testimony of the truth that Joseph Smith was a prophet, they won't need a ton of other reasons to get them going back to church.
AMIGOS Y PIZZA.... ¿¿QUE MAS NECESITÁS??

Well... We've got a lot of dog friends....

This dog is literally biting my hand off.
But don't worry he is our friend and he protects us haha.

This Sunday we fasted for more people to teach and during out fast we knocked on a door of a referral that was never home the past 3 times we went, but we said "this is the last time" and she opened the door, crying. She finally let us in after offering her help 3 times and just cried and cried and told us about her daughter, that she hasn´t seen her for 2 years and all she wants is to see her again. We taught her about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and sang her a few hymns. I showed her my picture of Jesus Christ in the Garden and she just clung it to her chest, weeping. I wrote her my testimony on the back and let her keep it. We taught her how to pray and told her to get some rest. But my favorite part was when we asked her if she was willing to change her life and follow Christ and she replied so humbly that yes. It reminded me they are those with a broken heart and contrite spirit that the Savior receives with open arms. I felt priveledged to be able to cry with someone who needed comfort.

I know this gospel is true! I know it more and more every day. Keep praying for our dear apostles and our beloved Prophet.

Worms, worms, go away, come back another day...... Just Kidding, Don't Bother.

This week it rained and rained and rained some more. My comp and I have been sick for 3 weeks now and we haven't been able to fight it off yet. This weekend we worked in the rain anyways. It just kills us being inside. We should probably take care of ourselves a little bit more.  The best is when we are testifying of the blessings of the Word of Wisdom and coughing every other sentence haha. "This commandment has really blessed my life and helped me live more healthy (COUGH COUGH)" So convincing but true.
