We Thank Thee Oh God For a Prophet!

Hola familia!!!

Well I'm not chillin with monkeys this Pday so I'm not as cool as Travmanfez but I gotta admit I am a lucky Hermana here in Argentina! We are seeing miracles every day!

First week in Argentina -
tearin it up w/ el libro de mormón!
My new companion e hijita es la Hermana Alanocca from BOLIVIA! I think God wants me to have friends from all over the world haha AND its working out. She left straight from the MTC here in Buenos Aires. .. .ehh here in our very area... So she didnt have to travel far haha. She's a shy little one but such a sweetie. Little by little I'm bringing out the wierd in her. She wants to lose herself in this work like I do and we're seeing lots of miracles from it! We made a goal to talk with 11 people every day at least on our way to other appointments and because of it we are finding new investgators! The Spirit is guiding us to new people every day. Yesterday we said a prayer to know what to do when our plans fell through and felt like we needed to walk by a certain street. My comp chose a door and we clapped, and found the best friend of one of the members here in our ward! We set an appointment with him and know its not a coincidence. Also we are working tight with the members, almost every lesson we teach there is a member present, which is awesome! I've probably already mentioned how our ward mission team is nothing less than the Avengers right? Thursday Correlation meetings make me feel like a Superhero! It's like we're planning to save to world haha and we work so good together! I am so grateful to be in this amazing ward with such amazing members.

Eugenia's confirmation was beautiful. Afterwards during the meeting she whispered to me "I have shivers when they share their testimony" and I told her that she was already feeling the difference between feeling the Spirits influence and having it with her as her constant companion. She is so happy.

Yesterday she fasted for the first time, and I couldn`t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the Lord's goodness, because just 3 short weeks ago we were the ones fasting to find people prepared for baptism. That same weekend was when we found Eugenia, and three weeks later she is a converted member and doing her own fast. I am amazed at the Lord's miracles. He only asks us to submit our will to His so that He can perform them. We do absolutely nothing. I am so grateful to be an instrument in His hands! I know that the power of fast is real!

I also know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet. I sustain him and all of the Lord's apostles. I hope we can all listen attentively to know His will for us this General Conference. We'll all be in tune across the world! I love you all!

Eugenia is an official MEMBER!!!!

I LOVE THIS CHICA!

It's beginning to look a lot like.... BAPTISM!

What a week! It's been so crazy haha where do I start? Eugenia got baptized! Thats where I start! It was such a beautiful baptism. The entire ward came to support her! She had to be dipped 3 times cause that stinking elbow of hers didnt want to be cleansed from sin apparently but the 3rd one's a charm and the work is done!
She is so stinking happy, even without the support of her parents. She told me yesterday that when she raises her own family, she wants to raise it like they did my parents. That made me cry a little haha thank you so much for your example mom and dad! You are examples for people across the world!

We've also gotten Eugenia started on her family history. We all go together to do it on Tuesdays. I can feel the spirit of Elijah running through my veins!

Okay the CAPITAL TOUR was so much fun! And it didnt even make me trunky! Haha everyone else in my group is going home today so I was giving them all the hardest time, bragging about my extra time left that they DONT have haha I hope karma doesn't hit me too hard in December. They tried to torment me by singing Christmas carols but every time they did that I just started talking about BAPTISM. haha We visited tons of historical places. I loved el Teatro de Colón, it reminded me of Phantom of the Opera.
The famous caminita de Boca! I love all the colored houses!

MISSION TOUR SELFIE--- OLD SHOES

In this pic all the other missionaries are "DYING" in the cementary and I'm just laughing at them cause I GOT THREE MONTHS LEFT! Livin it up ! Chau suckas!

Haha and this is the grave of the famous Eva Peron de Argentina.
Giant famous flower thing in Palermo!

The next day we went to the temple- it was so good to go INSIDE this time! I had such a great experience! I love the Buenos Aires Temple!

There was a part after the temple where we had to sit and wait for interviews so they had us watch a couple movies haha and we put in The Best Two Years- I apreciate that movie so much more now that I understand all the mission jazz haha. Then the Elderes put in The Other Side of Heaven, and Hna Thurgood just happened to walk by at the part when they kiss and she just shaked her head and said "You really shouldn't be watching this Elders " hahaha it was funny! I forgot that part was in there...

My comp made me a cake! Happy 15 months!

Well my compa Hna Muñoz is being transferred. I am going to miss her hugs and her spanish treats. I am going to stay here in Zion land and train again! I am so happy. I get to meet mi segunda hijita tomorrow. And for today I get to stay with Hna Cóncenes, MI PERUANA!!! What a dream! The mission is good. I am enjoying every moment. Thanks for supporting me in the best decision of my life! I love you all!

Saying goodbye to one good companion.........
......getting to see another great old companion,
and about to recieve a brand new companion. BLESSED.

Here's more pictures of the Beautiful Buenos Aires Temple:

I wanna be like You ou ou.... I wanna walk like you, talk like you too oo oo

The miracles continue! Sometimes I feel like the Lord is too merciful. This week we have been focusing on getting Eugenia ready for her baptism and looking for new investigators. I know I have already talked a ton about Eugenia but I just feel like she is such a angel! haha She's literally the perfect investigator!
I am just soaking up every teaching lesson with her because she just seems to get it all. I think we learn more from her than she learns from us! She has read "Gospel Principles" cover to cover ........ I admire her testimony and her strive to live the gospel. This week we had a lesson with her at the temple and it was so beautiful!

WE LOVE EUGENIA!!!!! When she saw the temple fountain she asked "Can I just be baptized right here and right now? "
Other favorite moments: A less active familia that we are visiting came to church this week!

A cute little Argentine girl saw us in the street and said "You are the Jesus girls right? We always love you so much! "

We found a new familiy to teach yesterday and are excited to keep finding more!
