(Sandy's texas song) I wanna go hoooommmmmeeeee hoommmeeeeeee

Hola Familia!!!!
So I think this will be my last letter home... (cry cry to the mommy cry... cry cry)
I am filled with--- as you would call it-- bittersweet feelings! "In a million ways completely torn apart... as a land so far away still owns my heart" ( Just cheesily quoting nashville tribute band here)
I feel like its all a dream. I feel like I am leaving home and going to... don't know where haha. I love the Argentine people.
I wish to share just a few things that my merciful Heavenly Father has been teaching me these past few weeks.
Sometimes the timing an will of our Heavenly Father are not the same as ours. Even though my vision of how I wanted my last transfers to be was not the same as how it turned out, my Heavenly Father has helped me realize that personally, I really have given all I have to this work. That makes it so that I have no regrets. I really am ending the mission consecrating myself , and that makes me happy :) Brigham Young never saw the Salt lake temple finished- yet he played such a valuable part in its construstion. Abindadi died without having an idea of helping anyone- yet he changed Nephite history. Sometimes the Lords timing is simply different than our own. I have the strong hope that there are many fruits of my labors yet to be seen in the future. My efforts, especially with my companion, have not been wasted- not even in the smallest part.
This work will move forward. I only feel so grateful that I have had the priveledge of being a small part of it for so short a time.
I know my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. They are real beings and they appeared to a  humble14 year old boy named Joseph Smith 200 years ago when the Restoration of the Gospel started to take place. I know that the Book of Mormon testifies of Christ and His love for EVERY people. I know He loves the people of Argentina- for He has placed that love in me and let it grow to the point that I would give anything for my beloved Argentine brothers and sisters. I love them, I love you all for supporting me. And I love my Savior Jesus Christ and His pure restored gospel.
And I know He loves me! You are all a witness of His love for me! Thank you supporting me in the best decision of my life.
Now, I want you all to picture a trunky moment of me coming off that plane with brian Adams playing "I will always return"... Lets make it happen- hahaha just kidding.
I love you all!!! Hurah por Israel!
Con amor,
Hermana Flake

I happen to be a BIRD! Whooo??? What what ????

Our taco thanksgiving activity turned out so fun! Haha we played fake basketball with a run down soccerball. #feelmypain

This is me throwin it down one last time schooling the Elderes Latinos haha (The rim was only lowered just a little ðŸ˜‰)  Call me Hermana Flake

Then on Thursday we had an activity called Tormenta Blanca- (White Storm) where the entire zone came and invaded our area. We got 40 referrals! We celebrated with a giant watermelon and gave thanks as we ate it at the temple :)

This week I  got to be in Intercambios with my own hija mexicana! Hna Silva and I had so much fun haha it rained the entire day but we saw miracles and found some lost sheep.

Yesterday God gave me so many tender mercies. One of them being that I  was sitting there in church when all the sudden I look to my left and there was my little Perry Sofia and Hna Baez from Burzaco, my first area! They had heard that I was going home soon and they came to visit me, I was so happy:)

Listen all you people

ASADO TIME------ CHORIPAN SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!! #asadoargentina #ilovemeat

Happy Thanksgivin! Today for our District Activity we are going to try to celebrate it a little. We're going to make tacos... It's not turkey but you know it will have to do haha. Que va a hacer. We tried so hard to get a basketball for my last d activity but it's literally impossible here to conseguir one. Our last zone actiity we had Argentine Asado and ate CHORIPAN ..... best thing i've ever tasted.

These shoes have seen their last days of soccer - or basketball played with a soccer ball.

PLUS they called us to participate in 3 more Capilla Abiertas!!! I am so happy because I love them! This Saturday we went to la Ferrere (super ghetto) and they literally made us take off all our watches, jewelrey... etc  before we could go out to invite- and the Elders always had to be accompanying the Hermanas. Now I understand why Pres. doesn't put hermanas there haha. But I got to work there for a day so it was a good experience!

Tender Mercy-- While my comp was making a phone call I started talking to the store guy- there was no one else around. Well a casual conversation turned into the entire lesson of the Restoration... This guy was super interested! I want to tell you of the amazing spirit that filled the room entirely when I recited the first vision. Right there in the electronics store. His name is Fabian and we are going to see him this week! Also at the Capilla Abierta we met one of the Elderes investegators: Camila who it was her first time visiting the church. We found her in the bathroom and started talking to her about the Book of Mormon and baptism. She wanted to know how to pray, so we took her into the storage closet, taught her to pray, and she said a prayer right there  and asked if she could be baptized. So it amazes me how God blesses us with the Spirit to teach in whatever environment that we find ourselves!  Whether it be phone store, bathroom, or storage closet.

This is Camila (Investigator) at Capilla Abierta
and....
this is Elder Calhoon cough cough I mean.. errr  Elder Slack haha

Did I ever show you this cool dead lizard????

Guess who I saw at the temple! Sweety pie Loraley from Las Flores! It was her first time through the temple doing baptisms . Such a tender mercy!
